I've always had a deep appreciation for photography and have certainly admired those photographers who could capture a moment in time that could take my breath away.
My job brought me to Arkansas from Oklahoma in '92 and I have never regretted it for a minute. I am still amazed sometimes at how some of the native Arkansans don't realize what a beautiful state they are living in. There are so many photo opportunities here. But I imagine that most PSNWA members already know that.
Many times throughout my life I have wanted to take the time out to study photography and try to develop the skills that I have so often admired in others. I discovered recently that a long time friend of mine has been doing just that for the last 3 or 4 years. When I saw his work my passion was renewed again. I bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT in April and have been having the time of my life. I don?t have much yet that is worth posting as a ?portfolio, but I'm determined to get there. So, keep coming back and as I continue to learn, I'll keep adding new images to my collection.
